Tech giant Apple (AAPL) announced in July that it will split its stock later August 2020. It plans a 4-for-1 split for August 31, which would, if you hypothetically trading on August 13, reduce the stock price from $452.04 to $113.01 per share. Essentially, one stock in Apple will be worth four after the split.
